From Monday, December 2, 2024, Whitetail Disposal will begin distributing bins to residents. Each household will be issued two 96-gallon bins, one for trash (black lid) and one for recycling (blue lid).

If you need a smaller bin, you’ll be able to request one from Whitetail Disposal from February 1, 2025. You can do this by either emailing uwchlan@whitetaildisposal.com or phoning (610) 936-9967.

Note: please do not use the new bins until the first pick up on January 7^th, 2025. Eagle Disposal will not collect waste that is placed into the new containers.

Marking new containers

The new bins belong to Whitetail Disposal, making them responsible for any repairs or replacements. If you need to mark your container with your house number, please use marking that can be removed if needed. For example, use duct tape with the house number written on it or numbered stickers. Please do not use spray paint or other permanent markers.

Disposal of old bins

Whitetail will collect and recycle old bins, if you don’t have a way to repurpose them.  

If you need to dispose of your old bin, you’ll be able to place it out for collection in the new year. You won't need to schedule this in advance for pick up. Simply, place it upside down at the curb and mark it with an “X” for collection on trash day in the new year.
