We’re taking the first step in creating an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) for Uwchlan Township, and we need your help to make it as strong and impactful as possible!

The goal of this plan is simple: to develop realistic, cost-effective solutions that make it easier and safer for all of us to walk, bike, and get around our community. Whether you’re heading to a park, commuting to work, or just taking a stroll through your neighborhood, your experience matters.

Put your experience on the map

To build a plan that truly reflects our community’s needs, we’re asking residents to participate in our interactive, map-based survey. This tool allows you to share your personal experiences and observations—what’s working well, what could be improved, and where you’d like to see better connections or safer routes.

Why your input matters

As we work to improve walkability, connectivity, accessibility, and safety across the Township, your feedback helps us:

• Identify areas of concern
• Understand how residents currently travel
• Highlight opportunities for new or improved routes
• Prioritize projects that matter most to the community

This plan is about creating a safer, more connected Uwchlan Township for everyone. The more feedback we receive, the better we can understand the needs of our community and turn those insights into meaningful improvements.

How to take part

Getting started is easy, access the map here, then:

1. Click the “Add a feature to the map” button in the bottom left of the survey screen
2. Choose the type of feature you’d like to add (such as a safety concern or improvement idea)
3. Click directly on the map to place your feature and add a description, you can even upload photos
4. Explore what others have shared and “like” the ideas you support!

By clicking “Sign In” on the MyAccount bar at the top of the screen, users may create a login for the site or use their Facebook profile to access MyAccount. Once logged in, visitors can choose the modules, features and keywords that they’d like to see most often, including calendars, news items and emergency alerts. Site users can also save favorite pages within MyAccount, encouraging more-frequent visits and making important information even easier to find. Check out MyAccount and customize your own page!

The Alert Center allows visitors to stay up to date on potentially disruptive, non-life threatening events such as road closures, parking alerts, boil water advisories, and more. Active alerts will display at the top of the website. Visitors can also sign up to receive notifications on specific categories to always stay informed. Learn more about the Alert Center today!
