We need volunteers to help with our Spring Litter Clean-up events. Organized by our Environmental Advisory Council, these events help to keep our community beautiful and support the environment by removing harmful litter.

Events

We have two events you can take part in this spring! 

First event

We’ll be cleaning up Route 100 starting at the shopping center with Concentra, Urgent Care, Roccos Pizza and other businesses, north to Gordon Drive.   

When: Saturday, March 16^th 8:30 to 10:30am (Rain date Saturday, March 23^rd)

Where: 625 N. Pottstown Pike (parking lot of Roccos Pizza/ Concentra Urgent Care)

What to wear: Bright colors, long shirts and pants, closed-toe sturdy shoes

What to bring: A small backpack to carry trash bags and a water bottle

Who can come: Due to the busy traffic, participants must be at least 16 years old to participate.

Safety vests, safety tips, gloves, litter pickers and grabbers, and trash bags are provided.

Second Event

Join us for an early celebration of Earth Day and help clean up the Uwchlan Township Campus!  We’ll meet in the Township parking lot and cover all the areas of the campus. While you’re there, check out the over 100 tree and shrub plantings in Baird Park, completed last fall through a Tree Vitalize grant.

When: Sunday, April 14th (Rain date Saturday, April 27^th)

Where: Uwchlan Township, 715 N. Ship Road, Exton.  

What to wear: Bright colors, long shirts and pants, closed-toe sturdy shoes

What to bring: A small backpack to carry trash bags and a water bottle

Safety vests, safety tips, gloves, litter pickers and grabbers, and trash bags are provided.
