[ARCHIVED] Culvert Project - Peck Road detours

NF Culvert Project-1

From January 22nd, we’re starting works on a new culvert at Peck Road. Detours will be in place for several weeks.

What is the project for?

This construction work will realign the sewer and install a new culvert. This will help to increase capacity so our stormwater system has capability to handle larger weather events.

The work will happen in two phases, the first will involve relocating the sewer line and the second will be to install the culvert.

Peck Road detours

Peck Road will be closed to traffic between Brookwood Drive and Good Drive.

The closure will be from Monday, January 22nd to Wednesday, March 27th.

Motorists traveling on Peck Road will be detoured around the project via Filman Road and Dowlin Forge Road.

If you’re traveling in the area, please plan to leave a few minutes early so you have time to navigate the detour.

Hours of operation

As per our ordinance, construction works will operate Monday to Friday, between 7:00am and 7:00pm (or 30 minutes after dusk, whichever is sooner).
