[ARCHIVED] Uwchlan Township Historical Commission to Host Juneteenth Presentation

The Uwchlan Township Historical Commission will be hosting a Juneteenth celebration and presentation this Friday (6/24) at 7 PM, featuring a documentary about William Still, a conductor on the Underground Railroad in Philadelphia, who risked his life to help many slaves escape to Canada, where slavery was illegal. There also will be a video presentation of Rhiannon Giddens performing a song that she had written about a young female slave's experience on the auction block.
