[ARCHIVED] PennDOT Sinkhole Project Begins in Exton

On Monday (9/29), PennDOT will begin a $6.8 million project to provide long-term sinkhole relief on U.S. 30 (Exton Bypass). The project is expected to be complete by Friday, 10/03.

The work will focus on the Exton Bypass between Pottstown Pike (Route 100) and Lancaster Avenue (Business U.S. 30). Crews will permanently repair sinkholes at two locations on the Bypass between Lancaster Avenue and Clover Mill Road.

Immediate Impacts:

Beginning Monday, survey crews on the Bypass will begin alternate lane road closures. The closures will occur between 9:00AM AND 3:00PM.

Although the work is not occurring in Uwchlan, some local delays are expected. Please plan ahead, and if possible, find an alternate route.
