[ARCHIVED] Township Manager Resigns for new opportunity

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the resignation of our Township Manager, Scott Greenly. Scott has accepted an exciting new opportunity with the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission and will be leaving Uwchlan Township. His last day with us will be Friday, June 21st.

Scott joined Uwchlan Township in January 2018, bringing with him a wealth of experience in municipal planning. He spent the first 18 months shadowing former Township Manager Doug Hanley before seamlessly transitioning into the role himself. Scott's strong background includes his previous positions as the Director of Planning and Development for East Whiteland Township and an Associate Planner for Upper Merion Township. He holds a Master of Science in Administration, Public Administration Degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

During his tenure at Uwchlan Township, Scott has been instrumental in several key projects and initiatives, significantly contributing to the growth and development of our community. His dedication and expertise have been invaluable assets to the Township staff, community, and residents.

The Board of Supervisors has already initiated the hiring process to find a suitable replacement for Scott. At the June 10^th Board of Supervisors meeting, Tara Giordano was appointed as Interim Township Manager. The Board is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining the high standard of service that our community expects and deserves. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for the position.
