[ARCHIVED] Culvert Project – N. Milford Road closure

From February 2^nd, we’re starting works on a new culvert at N. Milford Road. There will be closures over the coming weeks.

What is the project for?

This construction work is to replace the temporary bridge put in place following Hurricane Ida and repair the culvert.

Road closures

As part of a construction project, N. Milford Road will have some closures in the coming weeks:

02/02/24 to 02/04/2024 – closed to daytime traffic
02/05/24 until project completion – closed to both day and nighttime traffic

The closure is to help provide temporary construction access to N. Milford Road as part of the culvert installation project.

School bus services and trash collection will continue as normal.

Temporary access between Dowlin Forge Road and N. Milford Road

A temporary construction access is in place from Dowlin Forge Road to N. Milford Road. A temporary three-way stop sign has been put in place as a safety measure.

We'd like to thank the property owners for allowing us to use their property to have an easement for the emergency access.

There are no future plans to keep this access open once the project is completed.
