[ARCHIVED] Maintenance/Safety Work to Begin on Sunoco's 12-inch Point Breeze to Montello Pipeline

Sunoco Pipeline LP has advised Uwchlan Township that maintenance work / safety improvements are proposed to begin on Tuesday, August 18th on Sunoco’s 12-inch Point Breeze to Montello pipeline. The work will involve the installation of a new anode line for their cathodic protection system adjacent to the existing pipeline. The work, beginning onTuesday August 18th, will be between Windham Drive and Route 113 (on and adjacent to the Rossi’s Golf Center).

In addition, maintenance work will be occurring in the vicinity of the following roadways in the near future:

Pennypacker Road (across from the Pennypacker County Club)
Taylors Mill Road (near intersection with Dowlin Forge Road)
Fairweather Drive (near intersection with Misty Autumn Drive)

The work is proposed to be located on private property and no permanent roadway impacts are anticipated to occur.
