The Township has decided to again follow the lead of Chester County and extend the current essential personnel operations through the morning of April 13th. The Township building will continue to be closed to the public during this time and all public meetings will be postponed/canceled until further notice. The Township will continue to monitor the situation and make changes to this policy as needed.  We encourage all residents with questions and concerns related to COVID-19 to visit the Chester County Health Department, Linked Here. Important Information

• The Township has declared a Declaration of Disaster related to the COVID-19 pandemic as of 4:30 PM March 13th, 2020, which is still active at this time.
• Permit applications/reviews, inspection scheduling and code enforcement activities (outside of an emergency) have been suspended until the Governor’s order related to construction is lifted. If you have any questions, a Township directory can be found below. The use of email is strongly encouraged when contacting Township staff.
• Township offices are closed to the public, with no public being admitted into Township buildings for any reason until further notice. All non-essential Board, Commission, Committee and Council meetings are postponed until further notice.
• Due to the Governor’s order, all Township parks are closed until the Governor’s Stay at Home order is lifted. 
• Eagle Disposal has provided the Township with the following regulations for Trash and Recycling pickup that will begin on March 30th. 
  • All trash must be bagged and tied. Loose items will be not be collected.
  • All recyclable materials must be placed inside your recycling container, including your flattened cardboard. Recyclable items left outside of your recycling container will not be collected.
    

  • Bulk item and yard waste collection is suspended until further notice. 

• The Township Public Works and Parks Department continue to operate on an "on-call" basis, responding to incidents as needed. The Uwchlan Township Police Department will continue to respond to calls as normal.
