Township Residents pay Real Estate Property taxes to 3 taxing authorities:
Uwchlan Township, Chester County & Downingtown Area School District.

Uwchlan Township's Real Estate Tax Milage is 0.12.

Tax bills are mailed on March 1st and must be paid by December 31st.

A 2% discount is available if paid by April 30th, the face amount can be paid up to June 30th and a 10% penalty is applied if paid after July 1st.

Taxes not paid by December 31st are sent to the Chester County Tax Lien Office.

If your property taxes are escrowed with you mortgage company, it is your responsibility to forward the bill to your mortgage company to pay on your behalf. Do not assume that your mortgage company will pay.
