Next Meeting Agenda

The next Zoning Hearing Board meeting will render decisions from the following hearings:

  1. Application of 699 Rice Boulevard Associates, LP for a variance to construct a second wall mounted sign at 48 sq ft where only one wall mounted sign is permitted pursuant to Section 606.2.(g) at the property located at 699 Rice Blvd. Exton, PA.
  2. Application of Hamilton Apartments, LP for a variance from Section 603.6(a)(4) to allow for a solar canopy exceeding 15 ft in height and from Section 607.6.b.2 for a reduction in parking lot shade trees, at the property located at 757 Constitution Dr. Exton, PA.

The Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial body that makes decisions on land use appeals and applications. The Board is appointed by the Board of Supervisors and members serve a 3-year term.

The Zoning Hearing Board:

  • Assures fair and equitable application and administration of the Township zoning ordinance. 
  • Hears appeals from the Zoning Officer’s determinations and grants relief from the enforcement of the zoning ordinance in certain hardship situations by means of a variance.
  • Hears applications for special-use and challenges to the substantive validity of ordinances, as permitted by the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code (MPC).
