ATTENTION WAR VETERANS !!!
The National Court Reporters Foundation has partnered with the United States Library of Congress in an effort to protect and preserve
the rich and extensive history of U.S. Veterans. Through a project sponsored by the Library of Congress, men and women who have served
the United States in a time of war have committed their amazing personal histories to recording.
This mission of the Veterans History
Project is to collect and archive the personal collection of the U.S. wartime veterans to honor their service and share their
stories with current and future generations.
We are looking for first-hand oral histories, photographs, letters, and diaries. How can you be a part of this important
project? You
can volunteer to be interviewed and to share your historical documents. Your interview will be conducted and recorded by a Registered
Professional Court Reporter. It will then be transcribed so it can be preserved and archived at the Library of Congress in Washington,
D.C. This is a chance to make history
permanent - one voice at a time.
We ask that Uwchlan Township veterans contact Nancy Toner at
610-594-6139 to schedule a time to be interviewed.
