Uwchlan has an extensive system of parks and trails. The parks include Acker, Baird, Dowlin Forge, Lionville, Martin Memorial, Shamona
Creek, Spring Run, Jones Pond and the Uwchlan Trail that includes portions of the Struble Trail.
Residents may reserve
the pavilions in our many Township parks for picnics, birthday parties, etc. by calling Administration at 363-9450.
Field Use
is reserved through Bea Yorczyk at 610-269-9260. Please be advised that we cannot reserve pavilions on Saturdays during
sports seasons due to organized league use.
Acker Park: Located at the end of Bauman Circle in the Marchwood Development, this 5 acre park has a pavilion with four picnic tables,
tot lot, basketball court, baseball and soccer fields. Parking is limited. (Porta pottie in season.)
Baird Park: Ten acres located
on Ship Road at the Township building, this is strictly a passive park with picnic tables surrounding the five stepping ponds in rear
of the property. Lots of parking. (No porta pottie.)
Dowlin Forge Park: Located on approximately 40 acres of ground at Shelmire
Road near its intersection with Welsh Ayres Way. Access to the Struble Trail is available here. This largely passive park has two
pavilions with picnic tables overlooking a small pond. Parking is limited. (No porta pottie.)
Lionville Park: Located on Devon
Drive this 24 acre park has several baseball, soccer, and lacrosse fields as well as a large pavilion with picnic tables, two grills,
tot lot, one batting cage, and a snack bar. Lots of parking. (Porta potties in season - including one handicap accessible). Contact

Martin Memorial Park: This 15 acre tract located within the Season's entrance is off Summercroft Drive. Set amid natural wetlands
its facilities include a baseball field and a separate multi-purpose facility that will double in use for soccer and lacrosse, tot
lot, a pavilion with two picnic tables and a fireplace, and a basketball court. Lots of parking. (Porta Pottie in season.)
Shamona
Main: (Dowlin Forge Road entrance): One of Uwchlan Township's largest parks, Shamona Main's facilities include baseball field, basketball
court, two volleyball courts, tot lot, and a pavilion that has three tables and two grills. (Porta Pottie in season.)
Shamona
Peck: (Peck Road Entrance) Although smaller than Shamona Main, Shamona Peck has a baseball field, pavilion with tables, and a tot
lot. Lots of parking. (Porta pottie n season.)
Spring Run Park: Located in the Arbordayle subdivision its entrance is adjacent
to 253 Spring Run Lane. This 20 acre parcel includes a multi-purpose field for soccer and lacrosse. The park also has a tot lot, pavilion
with picnic tables and freestanding picnic tables. A basketball court has been incorporated into the parking area, which can affect
availability of parking space.
Jones Pond: This entirely passive park is located on Dowlin Forge Road. It has a pavilion and a gazebo which have benches overlooking
Jones Pond. This scenic park is adjacent to the Shamona Creek. There are picnic tables, but no porta pottie. Parking is limited.
Uwchlan Trails: The trail system meanders through the Township. It originates at the Struble Trail and wanders along Shamona
Creek adjacent to Dowlin Forge Road. Eventually the trail will go through EagleView and connect a great deal of the Township via recreational
